Eagle 2 for 6 points!!!

Played with a guy last night who was getting 2 shots on our 13th par 4 SI 4 hole. He was 190 yards out, into a wind, had to go over a hedge to an uphill green.............and holed it......nett 0.....6 points!!!

He also parred SI 7 for 4 points, parred SI 1 for 4 points, parred SI 5 for 4 points, parred SI 8 for 4 points.

He only finished 1 point ahead of handicap though.........he wasn't very good out of bunkers

It wasn't Fragger was it - you know, all those 2 shot holes.....

NEVER had a 6, but had a few 4s when made par on some of the harder holes, but then shot terrible on the easy par 3s etc, it swings in round abouts i think.

Smiffy had a 6 pointer once... for the whole front 9

That's good going. Always seems a shame when the rest of the holes are crap!
I've had quite a few 4's and the odd 5 on one of our par 5's.

Wsa at Albany Golf Club Western Australia a few years ago and there was a plaque there when a Guy playing off 21 on Stroke Index 3 on a Par 5 had an Albatross.

For you maths experts that is 7 points. Beat that!!

Don't mention Bunkers.....

Fist monthly medal back at my old club, 7 on the 8th didn't seem so bad after taking 5 to get out of the bunker on the 12th.

I did see a hole in 1 on a par 4 where the guy had a stroke so 6 points, amazed at the bandit, sorry golfer who had an albatross on a par 5 playing off 21

Saw a guy near hole out for 2 on a Par 5 and he got two shots, thats a tap-in eagle for 6 points, and was a foot away from 7 points. Knew him well and his handicap was genuine, hit it a mile but very rarely in the correct direct, and to catch hold of two consec shots in the right direction defied the odds!

Blame it on your coach Jan. I had a Smiffy moment today, and shanked one out of a bunker, although i didn't hurl my club.

In a club match years ago one of the opponents in the match ahead of mine had a hole in one with a shot (nett 0). Strangely our guy lost the hole without hitting the ball

wow! never had one of these. Had a couple of 5 pointers recently though. One for the clubhouse over a beverage or 3!
