Oh my god! This sounds like me. But I use the spare slot for the putter when transporting the clubs. The putter well seems to exposed. Only move the putter over when at the course and I'm ready to play
Now where's that metal polish gone. The club heads are looking a bit dull?

Don't think you have a problem really as you don't have time to play any golf after arranging your bag.
