Driver shafts (Ventus)

Would £220 be a fair price for the plus?

Can’t seem to find any on eBay
220 for used sounds about right, I've paid for new 300 each.
If you buying new driver 220 extra on top does hurt but if you just getting shaft its not too bad. Regular shafts ( not upgraded ) are around 100 pounds.
I went for a shaft fitting with my existing driver Ping g430, I liked the head but shaft was too low spining. Tried a lot of different shafts some of them was 700 pounds+
Ventus blue velocore felt the best, sold my old shaft for 100 on marketplace so only 200 for brand new.
2 iron was a different story, with upgraded shaft paid 500.

I have a G430 with a ventus red TR great shaft much better than the stock Alta.

I hit the ball very low (minus 2 AOA which deloft the face.)
I’ve tried to change over the years but can’t.😳

Ventus does hit it higher.
Not really much longer but is very straight.

Not sure if it is a velocore or not

I have seen a few on ebay

Yup. Also seen a Ventus red for around the same price which was one of the reasons I started the thread.

Hard to know what is best without trying them tho but I’ve got my heart set on the blue. Just debating whether or not the Velocore+ is worth it.

Will test it out next week

I’ve just been offered a Ventus Velocore+ 5s by a club repair specialist who I’ve used in the past.

I’ve rang around today and it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting the new stock Ventus released by TaylorMade for a few weeks.

Is this Velocore+ going to improve my game more than the stock Ventus shafts? And is there much difference to the velocore and velocore+

He’s after £220

Seems like a lot of money for a 15HC to part way with 🤣🤦
The Velocore+ shafts only got released a few months ago, that looks like a really good price for one.

I thought the Velocore shafts have been around for some time it is the TR shafts that are relatively new. Looking at the Fujikura video on their website, as I understand it, what they are saying is that coupled with the original Ventus they are now offering 6 levels of stiffness with the TR series being slightly stiffer per rating than the standard Ventus.

Personally I am still playing the Pro but have decided to give the Ventus a try. I did buy an Atmos 7R blue last year but never got round to building it and giving it a whirl.
