Dolby Atmos Home Cinema

Recently upgraded my TV and it isn’t 100% compatible with the old 5.1 surround sound system I have so maybe time to upgrade.

Is Dolby Atmos worth the upgrade, we pretty much only watch stuff through a Sky Q Box.

Do you recommend the rear speaker option or would a virtual surround system be good enough?

Is there a wired rear speaker system system out there? It would be pain run power to the rear speakers if wireless is the only option.

Any recommendations?

We have an Atmos set up and having switched from a DTS/THX amp I would say its made a difference.
The spatial movement of the sound just seems more accurate and enveloping.

We run it from a Denon AVR-X2600H amp and I really enjoy the sound and the experience.

Its all wired though, not a fan of wireless speakers and active would give you channel issues I think.
