Not with me they don't. They promote a flat hook, and a lost tee!

As the old tag line went... 'The future is Orange'.... Just that I am disappointed that they dont have a standard size for it. I think the Govt should introduce a legislation around this.. or the OFT should look into it - after all this is deficiency of service..

Castle tees wrong ? That's a new one. Why are they wrong ?

The most important point on this thread. Castle tees are wrong, no matter what colour they are

But I have a habit of teeing the ball up too high, promoting a flippy hands high hook. My coach wants me to tee it lower, so that I can hit a non flippy hands low fade, which I convert to a low flat hook through god given natural talent. If I use a wooden tee, which would be my choice, I tee it too high. Pink castles are the apparent preferred height for me. I just can't find the little b..ers.

This is an interesting conundrum! What effect does it have on these 2 tees if the greenkeepers have just mown the tee box and reduced the height of the grass? Surely that has to be taken into account as well?

Should have no affect.. since Castle tees sit off the ground and therefore provide a constant height irrespective of the grass height. So dont listen to HawkeyeMS... castle tees are the future..

It was tongue in cheek Phil. I just don't like them. They are in my list of things that shouldn't be used on the course along with non-white balls, telescopic ball retrievers, chippers and poker chip ball markers :D

Pink tees are definitely the best for driver...someone in the know about these things told me that they are coloured pink because that's the colour of the super low friction additive which gives them their extra distance capabilities :mmm: Everone knows that pink castle tees give you an extra 20yds forum driving distance don't they?
