Distance differences from players clubs vs GI

Went to driving range the other night and to begin with was on a string from 7 iron in..... then the shanks started when I started trying to draw it ☹️ Then I tried to go back to just hitting straight and the shanks remained 😫

Unsure if it was just me being yippy or the smaller heads or what? Shanking irons is something I don’t do- has happened at the range with chips

Some clubs are are much as 2 clubs stronger loft than other irons. TM M4s are very strong!

I went from Ping G10's to Mizzy JPX900's. Just comparing the lofts, the Mizzy's are around 1 -1.5 degrees stronger. Overall, the Mizzy do go further, but more importantly the distance they go is hugely more consistent. You just don't seem to get the rocket ball that crops up every now and then with the big CB clubs.
