We were talking about this on the course today. If there is something you were going to buy anyway and can get it for a good price then fair enough but don't understand this mentality of buying something just because it's a 'bargain'.

Did nowt on Friday but went into town on Black Friday boxing day, (Saturday) built myself up into a right state over spending hours looking for a parking spot, then spending hours traipsing around buying expensive rubbish. As it happened parked straight up and came away 2 3/4 hr later with all pressies bar two for all of our families.
