If an ‘away’ player submits a non acceptable score from an unauthorised format say, 4BBB GP or best 2 of 4, who has the responsibility of deleting it from their handicap record?
The club at which the round was played or the players home club?
The score appears on the ‘Score Listing by Day’ report, so is accessible to the club at which it was played for amendment if necessary / allowed.
The score could originally have been input via EG App or direct to EG by the player taking a physical scorecard to their club (who may not know the format was unauthorised) and being entered directly to EG there.
Rules of Handicapping (1.3ii) imply a golf club / handicap committee are responsible for maintaining their members records only.

Either home or away club can delete it (or mark as match play so it remains visible on the record).
However, it's best to communicate with the player's home club so that the player can be educated and/or further action taken as needed.
