Decisions

I don't know if this ought to be in here or another section.

I've just been onto the R&A website with the intention of buying the decisions book, as a couple of times on the course I've been unable to prove I was correct using the rules book and I knew there was a decision that cleared up any confusion, but didn't have the book.

Anyway, long story short, there is now an app for the decisions. :thup:

Book £16.99 takes up space in the bag and adds weight.
App £9.99 and I carry my phone anyway as it has my copy of the rules on it. Win-win.

I don't normally spend more than a quid on apps, but I think this is money very well spent.

Looked at the book as an option today (not much of an app user) as I am really interested in the rules plus knowledge is power and all that. Noticed on Ebay that the 2010-2011 version can be bought for the princely sum of 99 English Pence. Strikes me there won't be a huge amount of difference especially as the changes introduced in 2012 are well know?

Any thoughts??

I wouldn't if I were you. Just take the thread about raking bunkers - you would be misled by an out of date Decisions book on that one.
