Tiger actually doubled up in pain after his second tee shot Atticus- it doesn't look good but then again he is Tiger Woods so I am not even going to bother writing him off even in this circumstance. He seems uncomfortable on every shot, although by the looks of it he is going for the tact of forsaking distance and keeping his legs perfectly still to stop the pain- well at least he did for his last tee shot.

Luke Donald hurt his wrist playing out of the rough HTL, got it bandaged up my on course paramedics tried to swing again but just couldn't so he shook hands and went off. Does this mean his partner (not sure who it is) has to play on their own? I don't think that would help Westwood if Tiger throws in the towel.

I know it's still early days, but if Westy actually does it, I hope no-one suggests that it was because of Tiger's knee. Knee or no, Tiger wouldn't be there if he didn't think he was up to it, and no-one wins a major if they are not good enough.

I hope Westy does it but I think Ogilvy will sneak it. The way Tiger winces after every drive i'll be surprised if he keeps going with the big dog. His knee seems to be OK when he hits his 3 wood.

Tigers just pured a 3 iron 255 yards (carry) for his 2nd shot to a par 5. Funny he didn't wince and hold his knee afterwards on that one

Not missed a lot really - Westy missed a good birdie chance but everyone is sort of bowling along gently. Hopefully it will hot up eventually. Just a bit tense for now.
