damaged my 7 iron

I had had my new sticks 3 weeks when I hit half a brick buried in the leaves. What ever damage you have done, it is n't that much.

Your pro can Bash dents out and file bits off, but it will take the chrome off. Better left as is. If the clubs are current you may be able to buy a new head. Depends how much you want to spend.

My view is, they are golf clubs, they are going to get damaged. The day you buy them is the best nick they will ever be in.

true but im still annoyed at myself i spend alot of dosh on my gear and try to look after it(clean an polished) after every time out then i do something stupid like letting my club fall out of my bag

I did a similar thing.

The metal was only soft on my club so I used an emery board to get the most of the raised bit off and finnished with soapy wet & dry.

Then I brought my current set secondhand I failed to notice the 7 iron had a nasty blemish on the face It looks like it would affect play but it doesnt. I'm looking to change the head on that one.

be brave and go for it
