Having had to side step todays comp was Up early this morning for a brisk early morning round before family commitments take over the weekend, not thinking to check the website with the constant rain all week, turn up at the course to find it shut arrgh!

thank gawd its brightened up darn sarf! yesterday was windy as hell, but today is bright and a slight breeze! roll on 1.48 tee off! have not played for 2 weeks! cant wait to ruin my afternoon by slicing my first drive up the first hole!

We're closed as well, just up the A64 from pbrown. Stuck my head out of the door first thing and it was more like November than June.

My home course was closed for the majority of April due to flooding.Over the last few weeks the course has been looking fantastic, and a joy to play.Had an awful week at work this week and i was looking forward to playing the medal this afternoon,i've just found out the course is flooded again !!! and will be closed all weekend. :(

Looking out the window all seems nice, but all the cheap courses I could go play today do not drain well and the fairways are probably going to be squishy at best! Not worth spending my hard earned cash on.

I have already been down the range for 2 hours and breakfast, now what to do with the rest of today!

I have a rare Sunday comp tomorrow, rains is supposed to stop this afternoon, fingers crossed the course sufficiently dries overnight.

Hirsel shut today,it has pissed it down for 2 days now.I had 9 at Goswick this morning and got soaked through and even there had puddles lying.

It's June for Christ sake!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to the club for some practice later. Had to duck out of the comp first thing and spent the morning with occupational therapists discussing my mums care post discharge. It better be open as I need some holes for some thinking and head space time

18 holes this morning, course was in fantastic condition and the sun is out. bucketed down this past few days and seems to be just what the course needed.

Glasgow was hot and humid today, 5 min shower was the most we got- it was only 16 degrees apparently but it felt very warm in the sunshine.
Hopefully staying this way for medal tomorrow

Decent enough day here although very windy. Hardly stopped raining all week (until today) but the course is in superb condition.

absolutely sheeted it down on and off all day, but the wind has calmed down (thank god, thought my diy fence from last weekend was going to show me up!) and hopefully a nice steady dull day tomorrow with my Pro. Fingers crossed.....
