Half time and Palacios is having a blinder- Spurs are dominating which is nice to see. Even with Eboue / Adebayor on the pitch they were controlling the game so no excuses from you gooners / Arsene 'Excuse' Wenger when we win.
Keane is aggravating me- swanning around with the captains armband doing nothing, I really did used to like him but I can't bring myself to start doing so again.
cud 7 Looked solid enough
bae 6 defensively ok, poor distribution and not enough overlap.
woody 8solid
daws 8 solid
corluka 6 Looked a little slow today
lennon 7 Just wished he scored that early attempt
jenas 6 Athletic, but not enough quality as a footballer
palacious 9 THIS GUY WAS PURE GOLD. It is what we have missed
modric 7 Would have been better playing where Jenas was.
pav 7
keane 5 Not in the game at all.
We should have buried them today.
No doubt Wenger will be on MoTD later moaning about the sending off, whinge..whinge..whinge
OK couple of thoughts as a neutral. Keane looked like the cat that got the cream with the armband but showed no passion for that role or the game itself. Was a spectator
Spurs lack a decent playmaker. Modric and Jenas aren't in the game often enough.
Arsenal looked like a side with a lot of issues in the dressing room and didn't look like a unit. The sending off was a good decision and could have been straight red (think Beckham v Argentina) and the player was stupid especially having already been booked.
Arsenal will struggle in Europe and the PL without Adbebayour as he really is their only goal threat. I'm not certain they will finish top 4
A decent game to while away the afternoon but Spurs will consider it an opprtunity missed.
Adebayor has been useless this season, and should have left last summer, the threat this year is always rvp. Hopefully alongside Eduardo. Bentner is too lazy.
Eboue is an embarassment to most Arsenal fans, and todays sending off hasn't helped. Yes, he had to go, he is an idiot, and not fit to wear the shirt.
Denilson and Song as a midfield will win us nothing. Way too weak, too slow, too much time on the ball, and poor distribution.
Spurs played as I thought they would, they were at home against Arsenal, so they would always be up for it and close down rapidly.
Sadly, after the sending off, a 0-0 was always on the cards. Sorry Jon, couldn't see where Spurs were going to get a goal, despite alot of possession.
