Could you live without golf?

You keep enjoying your rest for another 3-4 weeks, before we renew our pairs match at Fairhaven. Are you listening in Junior? Nailed on.:D

Youve no chance.. I'm off to my Bermudan early season training camp next week.
:fore:

We'll need to be on form. The best 5 handicapper in Lytham on home turf will be hard to beat.

I don't think I could live without golf unless I had something to fill the void. I'd probably start playing cricket again and end up ruining my glass knee's even further.

That said, I do love it. I have made great friends through it, love where I play and the escape it provides me from work.

Beware the up-and-down-man (me), having about 5-6 a round currently.

Could live without it for sure, Never played until twenties and then barely played to work pressures for about 7/8 years. Missed it when not playing, but hey its not quite life.

Plenty in life to play, would love to do more cycling, tennis, walking, sitting around, gardening, hows your father, ten pin bowling. Yeah would easily find something else to do if Golf was outlawed.

I need something to look forward to at the end of the working week. I'm sat here now anticipating who I will get drawn with in the Sunday morning roll up.
I imagine most of your roll up are having sleeepless nights worrying they will get drawn with the Limey.:D

I've been doing that for about 18 months Pedro ;)

I'm going to blame defeat on my partner not keeping to the strict practice regime I drew up for him....

Ye gods, is that you bigging yourself up?

In the bag, Andy, Jocko's gone mad.:D

Never seen that before

What you playing at Iain blowing your trumpet?

Stick to the routine, Keep telling everyone your rubbish! :D

Going stir crazy. Even cleaned my golf room top to bottom and did some de-cluttering. Desperate to get out and hit some balls even if I can't play. Struggling still though so patience will be tested a few more days at least.
