Me and glyn are coming for the weekend and looking to play somewhere local on the sunday aswell.

I might be playing the 36 hole Open the day before.

There's a few good options around;

Bull.Bay on Anglesey would be top tip.
North Wales GC is on the other side of the Estuary from Conwy. A shade better than Maesdu.
Prestatyn isn't far away and a reasonable.cost.

If I don't end up playing Conwy the Sunday could possibly met for a knock somewhere.

Hi all,

Rick and Pete have just released a set of course blogs from Conway Golf Club in North Wales and something about the place just made me really want to go and play. It it so beautiful and seemed to be in the middle of know where with big Welsh hills all along one side and beach down the other. I did not harm that it seemed to e ebe flat clam on the day of filing for the most part.

Has anyone played it? Is it any good as a course? Any local hotels? (4 hrs each way for me).

I have never played lynx golf as it looks dull but I would love to go and play here!

Anyone else think it looked special?

great course .
quite flat no major climbs .
one of the toughest finishes in golf.

There's 6 or 7 of us entering the 36 hole comp the day before now. Unfortunately means I can't play elsewhere too!

Another great option for you all looking to play Conwy is to play Bull Bay which is on Anglesey, another hour or so from Conwy. It's been my home course for over a year now and I am so glad I made the switch from Rhosneigr to Bull Bay. Cracking course

I can't recommend it enough, the course is in fantastic condition.

Just hope the wind isn't too bad for you! ha

great course ,great condition ,proper test,tough finish, festival week is fantastic if your traveling, just keep it straight and avoid sand and you will love it,good food as well!!

Back from hols 10th June.

After that I plan on having a lot of free time for golf. Will definitely come over to Bull Bay and can host you @ Conwy :thup:
