I sometimes go home from work on the M1, and get off at J22. The slip road off has 2 lanes, and the roundabout at the end of the slip road has 3 exits.

People will go down the slip road in the right hand lane, and turn left (1st exit) at the roundabout, just because they don't want to queue for 2 minutes being in the proper lane.

That's what you get for going near Coalville !!

Yeah right, ,your car is as safe as houses in Saffron Lane, Braunstone. Highfields, Northfields, Beaumont Fleas,New Parks, Netherseal etc etc. Pots and kettles come to mind

Yes, don't get me started on knob drivers. The things that irritate me most are the simple things that are just inconsiderate and lazy. Parking facing the wrong way on busy roads. Parking on yellow lines or disabled spaces to save a 50 yard walk. Not signalling. Hogging the middle lane, I could go on.
Still, the roads are much safer than they used to be despite all this and despite being much busier.... suppose it's hard to be seriously injured when the traffics crawling along in the rush hour !!
