Got my new handicap this week, I'll be entering my first ever medal on Saturday. Bit nervous but just want to get the first one out the way.

Comp aim for me, hotchkin play well and try and get a cut.Bracken course go out and collect 0.1 back and see how many times I can 3 putt during the round.

Aim for me would be to get a cut. Do that and I'd have a chance of winning the comp. Get a cut and don't win the comp, I'll be delighted. Next comp I'd have the same aim.

More like 2, especially after the amount of sand put on them last week. All the 4s are still reachable but approach shots will be a test

1st medal is always an odd one, you never know what the greens are going to be like, if they are still a few weeks away from being good then it's an aim to buffer.

I only ever have one aim really, and that's to hit the shot I want to hit each time I take a shot.

My comp aims are:
1. Make it round without anyone dying
2. To get a cut
3. Use the same ball all the way round.
ive got number 1 and 3 pretty much sorted its just number 2 at the moment that's the problem.

may mate Dave played with Neil on Monday and he said they were like lightning compaired to ours.
Though we are now back on the full course this week and they had that air injection machine on all the greens, they are ironing them from today.

Not a medal but first comp at my new club is a stableford today.
The sun is out and I can't wait to get going. I put my name down at random with two other people and it turns out one of them was one of my best friends at school - he has a very common name.
Not aiming for anything in particular today am just going to make sure I enjoy it.
