Comments on the Masters please

I think we have been spoiled in recent years with dramatic moments, playoffs etc. This was a bit of a procession on the back 9, albeit Bubba played some very steady golf. Cant remember hearing any 'August Roar' which says a lot for the final day.

I saw a stat on BBC that shew Bubbas scoring in his time at the Masters Par 3 and 4's he was over par then Par 5's he was about 45 under par, this goes to show what Poults was saying about it being won on the Par 5's

Bubba deserved his win, poor Lee Westwood couldn't buy a putt all day, Rory disappointed, Speith looks a good prospect, Jimenez was Jimenez , Freddie collapsed again on the last day.

The way the greens are set up, it is not golf as we know it - but it is the same for everyone and makes for great television.

You had to laugh when at one point the commentator said the wind was 'getting up' to 5-10 miles per hour.

How the hell does Bubba make that lashing, dancing swing with 1000 moving parts repeatable ? - quite remarkable. God help him if it goes out of sync and he has to think about it.

Looking forward to next April already:)

Bubba was so good off the tee he was gonna be very hard to catch. Wedge and short irons into them greens gives a massive advantage.

Its a bombers course and most of the other big hitters were poor which made it a non event in the end.

- The Masters remains an idiosyncratic, but spectacular test of golf

- Bubba's driving was an excellent exhibition of the art and he also showed an improved level of composure in major competitions

- McIlroy showed he can grind it a little better than previously thought and not rely totally on streaky play. Needs to employ this on the par 5's and greens to win on at Augusta though. Think he will though in the next 3 years.

- Well done the BBC; even on a budget of £4 you still have what it takes to do thoughtful coverage. Ken Brown for prime minister.

What Bubba (and Rory) did on the 13th par 5 booming it over the trees and flicking a wedge in was spectacular. I guess that route will need to be addressed at the Green Jacket committee meeting asap. :D

Slightly underwhelming. Found myself switching between BBC and Sky just to try and hear something interesting on commentary. All a bit of a procession for the last few holes but Bubba is always fun to watch and see how much he'll move it on every shot while doing some form of soft shoe shuffle in the process

Can they put a tree on top of another tree? :D

tbh its a very risky shot to take on and deserves reward if you can pull it off.

thought they might of done something this year DJ hit the same spot last year.

there was hardly any roars because no one made a move not back nine heroics ie. eagle eagle mickelson style.

This year I followed it a bit online and on Twitter whilst doing other things, waiting for something to happen that warranted me watching it on tv. That moment never came, I watched my first I've shots at half ten last night, saw bubba close it out and switched off after he holed out on 16. Nothing to write home about this year.

Bubba did well and congratulations to him.

However watching it was a test of stamina and, I am afraid, I found the broadcasts from BBC and Sky pretty poor. So much talking by presenters about themselves and subjects totally unrelated to the live pictures.

Both channels were obviously receiving the same feeds so it was possible to switch to BBC when Sky was on a commercial break.

I was determined to watch until the finish but I admit to dozing off more than once.
