What about just lobbing one in a lake? Not quite the same as raking a bunker or dropping your club on the tee.

Might be easier to give Smiffy his two shot penalty before he starts, then he has a good throw on account.

Not sure that I agree with it on principle.

But the problem is the chucking itself not the actual destination. And how many of us Club-level chuckers actually come back with fewer clubs? There's plenty have a lob, but I'd reckon non-retrieval is rare.
