Not a rumour now, check out the www.srixon.com website for more info about some of the range of clubs coming here. It's not all on there yet as they'll also be bringing out a blade but Srixon having been making clubs for years and have a good following in Japan, just don't expect them to be cheap! launching October/November I think.

Still can't see anything about Cleveland becoming a Wedge only brand! And link to Cleveland.com (still) shows more than just Wedges. Link? Press Release?

Still only rumour and maybe only applies to US - trying to increase/focus on Srixon brand, and they do produce nice kit! UK non-wedge sales are probably similarly low market share. Srixon/Cleveland certainly don't seem to be the aggressive marketers that other OEMs are. Plenty of presence on Euro Senior Tour.
Seems to be right and shuts me up about the move by Srixon. Interesting to see how important Japan is to the golf market. I knew they liked golf but didn't realise they were that important.

It will definitely apply to the UK market, I expect there to be about a dozen or so 'premium Srixon dealers' in the UK with full fitting carts which will be great. I'm just not sure how successful they'll be over here. In Japan they spend a lot of money on their golf equipment but in the UK we don't.

Indeed looking through the completed items should be able to get one for £70 - £90 but most a little more at the moment

I rate the Cleveland XL fairways as one of the best I've used and I recently picked up a Cleveland hybrid carry bag for £50 from sports direct but noticed it's now gone back up to £75. It's got 14 full length dividers and is one of the best carry bags I've seen it's just a shame they seem to be selling everything off.
When worked in Asia the Srixon clubs were superb however they did have premium pricing, it'll be interesting to see how they manage their marketing strategy over here.

they had a trade couple of days at the grove recently with all the main journos and mag editors, some pics on twitter with there personilsed srixon tour bags. Pretty sure POH has some video review content up on GM online

They started off as a wedge only outfit and so perhaps it makes sense but seems very confused and a lot of rumours attached to it all. I prefer their wedges to Vokey if I'm honest as they feel a little lighter and suit my eye better. If they extend the wedge range with more sole and bounce options then they could give Vokey a real run for their #1 spot
