Don't know who mentioned it, but thanks, I now use Saddle soap to clean my shoes. What a difference.
Previously would wipe over with wet cloth and dubbin. Now wipe over with wet cloth then spray on Saddle soap. What a difference far cleaner, brighter and it nourishes the shoe.
Highly recommended

take shoes off and chuck in the boot... maybe give them a blast with the airgun first

I airline clean my soles after each game, and clean the uppers as and when they need it. Don't see anything wrong with having clean smart shoes.

My winter pair I clean after every couple rounds

spray with water from the hose tape on kitchen sink to get the muck off bottom, scrub with brush all over, wipe with cloth, dry with towel (have a little golf equipment cleaning bag under the stairs) and then use a bit of wax all over to just keep it at its best

stops them from humming

Don't they know the words😝👍😁....?

How often I clean mine depends on how quickly they're going timber mucky again..
This time of year it's a fool's errand..
Within 100 yards of the first tee they're going to have mud on them again...
Got better this GS to do.

Stamp my feet on the way back to the van, place shoes in said van and not touched until next round.

I do play most weeks with a chap who cleans his shoes every week by giving them a blast with the air hose and then a quick spray of WD40 and wipe off :ooo: he tells me it helps to keep them waterproof and nice and soft.

is the correct answer. what a bunch of girls the rest of you are

Hmm, a girl just because I take pride in looking after my shoes and wanting to feel clean and presentable, I'd rather look like a girl then than a scrubber 😜

:D very good lol

I never used to clean them , I mainly do to make them last longer

my mate has 14 or 15 pairs of golf shoes.. jesus swear once every 3 months ill see the original pair again lol

I have 3 pairs, my black contours I wear all through winter, my Freestyles I have worn twice and the spikeless I wear to the range and in the summer. soon to be 4.. got another pair of spikeless coming for my bday (worn out the grip a bit on others)

takes about 5 mins a shoe to clean them after I done my clubs (which I do after every round) whilst doing it might aswell keep them at their best

Air blast them then a quick rub with a couple of baby wipes then put the air freshing Ducks into them - takes a minute

I do clean them, but not every time. I tend to buy a new pair in spring, which I do clean every round through the summer, but then I wear them to death through the winter and bin them.

I have flat feet and find comfortable golf shoes hard to find / costly compared to say your average £30 pair from sports direct.. I like to try and look after them best I can. I'll wear this fj contours until they leak lol
