I know there are a few blues online here, just curious your thoughts on the matic signing? Do you need ANOTHER midfielder? And resigning a paperweight in the luiz transfer for £25m? Would you not prefer a stricker?

We definitely need a new striker (I assume the terms of the loan agreement means that Lukaku cannot come back before next season) before a new midfielder, but reckon the re-signing of Matic will herald the departure of Essien after De Bruyne, with Mata probably (although I hope not) heading elsewhere at the very end of the transfer window. Would expect that Lampard's role will become less after this season, then probably a half-decent bit of business by Jose. Would have preferred one of the younger lads being given more of an opportunity though. But cannot argue with the Special One's record whilst at Chelsea and glad that the average age of the team has been lowered.
Do you not find it frustrating that in a month where you've announced losses and failure to meet your original targets of sustainability you've gone and paid £25 for a player you effectively relapsed a few years back.........
errors more like! Relapse lol?Spot the error!!
He would be a good signing at £25.
Crazy world fitba, Sell a player for £3m and buy him back for £25m a couple of years later. Tax loss maybe?
Dylan McGowan watch him he will be priceless in a couple of years.

Why? Has he left the Pogues?
BTW - Talk sport said it was £25 million Euros. So, bargain!
