So it's a bit like glasshouses slating other teams poor signings when your own team has made poor signings and possibly at greater expense

£16mil is always big money to every club bar possibly two in the prem - £16 mil is normally most teams whole budget

As for who we sign - well I'm sure we will find out soon enough but until someone actually signs then it's just gossip so I'm not particularly bothered - I know the areas I would like to improve so missing out on a player most had never heard of I'm nit really bothered

But You do seem to be very interested in Liverpool ? Are you secretly a fan or are you the result of the contrived fake rivalry that was created by Sky during the Jose/Rafa years - the rivalry that was stirred by them during the CC Final and the infamous "ssshh" gesture then stirred again by the CL semi win then again the next season in the FA Cup then again in the CL semi - Sky tried to create a rivalry like we have with both Everton and the Mancs - but it's never going to happen from a Liverpool perspective - with the Bitters it's the close proximity and the history rivals - with the Mancs it's been born of 4 decades of dominating English football between the two clubs and that strive to be the most successful club in England. Chelsea have the rivalry with Spurs and Fulham and West Ham and Arsenal - the London rivalry both on and off the pitch but it will never be there with Liverpool Chelsea - it's just not real - we aren't really bothered :thup:

You do always have a lot to say about Chelsea tho mate tbh. & you did sound slightly bitter about not getting Salah in post #69. Maybe I read it wrong.

Not really when I have never heard about him until two days ago and still don't know anything about him bar the usual you tube videos.

We have more pressing needs than an attacking player

I have a lot to say about all football clubs - but Chelsea are just another rival club in the prem as opposed to what Sky used to try and manufacture - something that it appears Chelsea fans grabbed hold off - there is no historical rivalry at all there . Living down south now I have got to know a fair number of Chelsea fans - they also agree with what I say about the rivalry but have said a lot of the younger generation have this hatred for Liverpool that has grown since Maureen arrived and can't understand it.

I hate ( even hate is strong ) one club - the Mancs - that's it.

Looks like Chelsea have got Salah,got to feel for Liverpool. First Willian & now Salah :rofl:

Although we were linked with Willian, it was spurs who got closer to him, flying him in, paying for his hotel maybe, not sure about the breakfast and then signed for Chelsea. I wonder if they sent the hotel bill to Chelsea?

Yeah like a say Stuart Downing or Jordan Henderson, Barini,Joe Allen.....
