how did you get them to.set up to the smart meter s ?

Do you already have a smart metre? If so they just take your metre numbers and charge X during day and y between 00:30-04:30 I think is the standard times (I'm on gofaster which you need electric car for.. I got 5 hours 01:30-06:30 so in mornings my cuppa and sterilising babies bottles get covered)

It's all done auto and the metre sends readings every 30 mins to them allowing them to do so

However the go tarfiff anyone can go on car or not

I am on OVO

My contract came up for renewal this year and to be honest I found all the suppliers pretty much the same on a monthly basis*. Obviously how much you pay each month depends on your usage, the type of building what sort of insulation etc. Me modern, well insulated 5 bed detached and my monthly charge £69 a month. I live on my own and am happy to run heating at about 21degrees.

I chose OVO because they pay 3% interest on credit balances and you can add money to your balance.

* probably something to with the cap ofgem imposed.
