any recommendations? bought i crap benross one for £30 new with max loft which is to high for me. as a high handicapper it would have to be quite forgiving as well. I seen Duncan M sold someone a old burner which he gave good reviews to?

i dont think you can go wrong with an 09 burner or burner superfast. one of my mates is currently struggling with poor form (hes off 12) and ive loaned the old burner over, i cant see me getting it back any time soon... so forgiving.

My brother uses an old Nike SQ 460 driver, it's impossible to avoid the sweetspot on it every shot feels the same so I'd say that's pretty forgiving. And it'll be really cheap as well.

i leant him the 09 burner, the superfast was the 2010 model which just had a slightly better shaft and a more conventional head shape. i purposely went for the 09 burner as the head shape is like a tear drop, and it doesnt allow you to roll your wrists on takeaway.

The superfast although maintaining the same basic design was slightly more rounded on the rear

Agree with searching out a square head Nike.

There are quite a few similar kicking about eeeebay. Easy to hit sweet spot and forgiving

SQ's and Dymo2's shoudl be pretty reasonable as they are older models.

I am not changing mine until it breaks as it does what it says on the tin....

I have a Taylormade Superquad, which was a brilliant club for me. I found it very forgiving and was always my favorite club until I got seduced by the Ping I15, It was so good for me that 3 of my mates also bought them, its like having a bunch of mini me's.

its 9.5' with a stiff shaft so it might not suit you but if you're interested it would be £30 delivered

cheers for the offer bud but i think 9.5 and stiff shaft would be a bit too hard to hit for me!

Dunlop nz9 if you want new. Fantastic club IMHO, tested it at the belfry and it was in the top 5 for distance against 30 drivers! Get the stiff flex shaft too.

Hi
Have a couple of drivers 1 i bought myself at a demo day and then got the offer of an R11 and couldn't resist so it has never come out of the packaging.
Its a superburner 2.0 10.5 degree with a Matrix ozik x-con 4.8 stiff shaft. My brother is selling a Superfast burner 1.0 that would probaly suit you better it's 10.5 degrees fitted with a regular Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue shaft. Shaft and grip are perfect a few marks on the head. I'm based in Dublin not really sure what either are worth.

The Ping G15 is £130 brand new at American Golf at the moment. Apparently one of the most forgiving drivers. Roughly how much are you looking to spend? Cheap is different in different peoples eyes ;)

cheers oddsocks, i have my eye on a few on ebay now. i'll see how they go

i seen the g15 advertised on american golf actually, and iv heard good things, but im only starting to use a driver again, as well as trying to save as im hopefully moving to london, so i think a second hand burner or nike of ebay would be more my range at the minute. cheers tho
