Very sad news about Graham Thorpe passing away 😢
Son of Farnham. Brothers and dad all played for Farnham, and his mother was scorer.

Top batsman against pace and spin in all conditions. Hundred on debut against Australia, and perhaps his most famous innings against Pakistan in the dark to help win the match. Made runs when they mattered to win matches. 100 tests and his batting average better than Gooch, Gower, Robin Smith, Threscothick, Vaughan, Strauss, Stewart of his contemporaries.

RIP Thorpey.

Absolutely stunned to hear that Graham Thorpe took his own life. So, so sad.
Indeed. Especially with a wife and family as a support network. Just reiterates you never know what is going on with someone and it's important we all keep asking friends and families if they are alright and ensure Alright = ALL RIGHT. If you aren't convinced don't let the matter drop

Sad to hear the death of Greg Kihn maybe not so well known but was a singer songwriter from America.

80,s was probably his heyday I particularly liked the LP Best of Kihn has a well written track about Emily Dickerson who was a suffragette.
