Old ping putters

Clearing out stuff from an old relative that’s passed and have found these two old ping putters, still with original grips, think from the 80’s, after a look on eBay they’re not worth much just trying to weigh up getting them refurbished to sell or just keep as is, might be good to have in years to come. Lovely putters just after folks thoughts, have used Chris finch quite a lot would be good to see what he could do with them.

In my experience these are very easy to refurb yourself, as a winter project. And agreed, they're not worth much unfortunately. They sure look really nice once polished!

If you are intending to sell them, don't spend too much time, or any money, on refurbishment or polishing. The buyer will want to do that.
Just clean them.
A not too harsh pan scourer and washing up liquid.
Do not rub hard with pressure. Repeated speedy, but gentle back and forth. Keep the clubhead hot with regular dribbles of water from the kettle.
I always use rubber gloves.

This should be enough for more attractive photos for on-line selling.
There are plenty of Ping collectors out there.

I was lucky to get an A-Blade (1960s) in a joblot purchase in recent years. It looked much darker/dirtier than these two. Quick clean and it sold fairly quickly.
