They're not I went on to make a donation and at the end it asked me to contribute to their 'running costs'. There was a dropdown with various amounts but the lowest was £1 which is what I went for.

I used the virgin money site last time I fundraised as they didn't take any commission at the time, don't know if that's still the case.

when you donate currently to charity it comes up with a note saying they arent taking their normal fee and asking for this contribution
