Virgin used to just take a one off fee from the charity, not sure if it's still the same.I used the virgin money site last time I fundraised as they didn't take any commission at the time, don't know if that's still the case.
That's them asking for additional money.
They stil take a cut according to their own site.
2.9% of each transaction. Plus 5% of gift aid.
