Does anyone have BT TV? I have had Sky for many years, but have just had fibre broadband installed and I am considering switching as I think that I can save a fair amount by doing so (without having to haggle).

Going on to the BT website it looks like I can get their VIP TV package, which covers just about everything and Netflix, and fibre broadband included for around £120 pm.

Currently I am paying Sky £105, BT for Sports (£25) and fibre broadband (£61) and Netflix (£10). Unless I've missed something its around £80 pm less with BT.

Have I missed anything and interested in experiences of using BT TV

Yes, I've had it for a little over 2 years.

The interface of the TV guide is nowhere near as good as sky. But recording programs or series etc is every bit as easy and let's be honest... Once you're on the channel you want, its the same viewing experience.

Isn't the terrestrial channels just Freeview, I haven't had it for a few years though.

Yes, your main standard non hd/Freeview channels are through your aerial.... Everything else streamed over the internet.
