British Weather Sucks!!

Cant believe we are now in the middle of May and i just come home from the course after nine holes where i had to wear bobble hat and winter mits. Our club chamionship qualifiers are the weekend and im praying its not like last year when you could only hit a 7iron 100 yards into the wind and drives were only going 180 ........

Is anyone else sucked off with the weather and are we going to have a summer this year ???????

supposed to improve from tomorrow onwards, warmer by the weekend.

Totally peed off with it but will be in 80 degree sunshine on the course in Portugal tomorrow afternoon. To think when we booked a sunny trip for May I said "is it worth it as it's lovely here in May"!

Not getting much warmer for another month apparently mid June before heating can be moth balled.
Forecast here for weds thru Sunday is wait for it rain rain and more rain! :-(

That's a good sign, means theres an anti cyclone moving in which forces the rain up until it freezes then gravity takes over.

The storm we had on Sunday up here tore up a tent in the garden, overturned a metal wheelbarrow with water in it and kept me and the family INDOORS ALL DAY:angry:

couldnt care this weekend, ive had enough so me and HID are off for a dirty weekend somewhere quiet. the more rain the better, hopefully it will turn around for next weekend.

Played in the twighlight medal last night, 7pm tee and the conditions could not have been better. Beautiful sunset and lovely clear dusk.
Forward to this afternoon, I would need a boat.
