British Masters 2019: Hosted by Tommy Fleetwood @ my golf club :)

Great news but wasn't that impressed when I played a scratch comp there in the summer. Back nines got a few good holes but the front nine is dull.
As good as Birkdale? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

We had a great day at the King of Kings final a few years back and we were looked after well by Hillside. I really enjoyed it as a challenge (far too hard for me) and well worth a game and a forum meet

Great news indeed!

I marginally prefer Hillside to Formby and it's probably a better 'stadium' venue too.

Well done Mr Fleetwood!

When the Masters was confirmed last year, I managed to book into a local hotel for the Sunday night fearing that they would quickly fill up. A couple of questions please;
When (and where) is the entry list published?
Any recommendations for an affordable round for my wife and I for the Monday?

What's your definition of affordable?

Affordable, hmmmm.......I guess we would be happy to pay £30 each

You'll be a bit limited around Southport, but Southport Old Links is s decent course. Only 9 holes, but with 2 distinct sets of tees. There's also Southport Muni and Hurston Hall. I don't know the prices of any of the above, but they're more likely to be within your range.
Other than that, you're going to have to travel inland.

Hesketh I think we’re running offers that aren’t much more expensive than £30 around the time of the masters.

I’ve also been granted 5 days of stewarding so I’ll be there 👍
