Not my cup of tea. In fact none of these shows are my thing and I won't watch. That said, the blind singer Andrea Begley who won The Voice in 2013 works with my mate for whom I was best man at his wedding 25 years ago. He had a big do last summer to celebrate and she came along and sung for 45 minutes. Fantastic voice and very warm to everyone. Someone showed me the clip about the child comic on the clubhouse earlier and I thought it was in poor taste and disappointed that someone told him he'd get away with it.

Me and the wife totally agree about the Girl singer - she was amazing but she knew it and displayed no humility and a lot of arrogance, can't see people warming to her

This was just heart wrenching though

Can't agree with this.

First of all , the girl was very nervous and only 15! I didn't see one bit of arrogance, as you put it. More her style of singing which has a "Young swagger" about it. And "Humility", what are you on about?

Make no mistake, providing she's given the right songs and is allowed to show her incredible voice, exceptional range and undoubted "Talent", she will go all the way.

As for the choir - their purpose, very commendable and emotional but the actual harmony and singing was not the best at all. Let's not forget the show is all about "Talent", not who has the best heart wrenching story.
But I do wish them well in their plight to find their loved ones.

Lowest viewing figures for BGT for 10 years, no surprise to me. Tired formula and so many other excellent TV programmes to watch both on mainstream TV as well as streaming services like Netflix.

I didn't need to watch it on TV I saw it live in the pub on Saturday night. I think the entire towns singing talent was in to celebrate a blokes 45th. I know some will dismiss karaoke but I wish I'd videoed the entire night. It was the best 3 hours karaoke I've ever had the absolute pleasure to host. Hell, we even had Wuthering Heights, sung spot on!!!!
Oh, and the pub almost run out of beer !!!!!! Cracking Knight !!!!
