Boring

I know it's boring reading about other people's good rounds but I just shot 74 net 61 round my course and I'm chuffed to bits. It was also comfortably the worst I could have scored too.

Even dropping a shot on each of the last two holes didn't bother me at all.

For the first time in absolutely months, every part of my game went well. Hit plenty of fairways and greens, chipped quite nicely and putted solidly even though I missed about 6 10-15 foot birdie chances before finally holing one on 15th.

Particularly pleasing was that my game held up under pressure. Gives me confidence for the start of the season.

Anyway, sorry for boring everyone.

Drive, iron, putt, putt, drive, iron putt, putt etc

Where is the fun in that? Golfs excitement comes from the swing of drama! As I have been told, Faldo won a masters doing the above.

Don't think badly about that 1 in 6 is probably all the pros make on average from outside 8-10 feet they only make 70% of 6 footers too so as long as you did not 3 putt the ones you missed (clearly not based on your scoring) you can be very very pleased with your putting and your all round game.

I'm more than happy with everything I did. Especially my putting. 33 putts today which is 10 less than last Saturday!!!

Nothing boring about telling all about a good round.
As previously stated, the wife generally shows no interest when you've had a good 'un.

Mine tries to look interested but by the time I get to the 4th, after giving her hole by hole accounts, she soon switches off!!!

I don't know why!!!

Individual club stableford. Shame it wasn't a qualifier. Would have been a nice juicy cut.

Still, should be a few quid in the pot for a win.

I know the vagaries of golf only too well, not least after last Saturday with my epic 43 putt round.

Must have been the session with my V-Easy!
