Honest opinion:-

I defy anyone to say it was or wasn't definitely a penalty.

IF skrtel does touch him it is only with his toe, but if he did, its a penalty.

Does anyone see any contact or no contact - no, because there is no overhead view which shows contact or no contact.

Unless I need a new telly, maybe one from Trotters Independent Traders?

Not sure myself whether it was a pen or not, either way it's history. The 2 goals that came after were much more worth watching.

Lennon seems to have done a decent job at Bolton........as I said when he was appointed, they were a good match.

Have to agree. A good old fashioned cup tie. Maybe the penalty and sending off were soft but they added to the tapestry of the game. I do agree with Snelly to a degree though that players are going down too often (anyone see that Dutch red card http://metro.co.uk/2015/02/05/watch...d-card-just-29-seconds-into-psv-game-5050313/) but sadly thats the way the game is. The likes of Hunter, Bremner,, Tommy Smith and Ron Harris wouldn't last five minutes in the modern game where tackling it seems has been almost designated to the history books

Soft pen ? yes , Soft sending off ? yes , change the game and the result , C Palace will end it for them in the next round as The press are loving this Stevie G in the final with Liverpool in his last game and wining the FA Cup , it don`t work that way , earlier this year it was chelsea going unbeaten , what next ? Wenger winning the treble , PL , CL & FA Cup , be nice but again it don`t work that way
