was on works do/piss up on Friday and we ended up doing a few of these... absolutely lovely
got in at 4am and spent Saturday on the couch

anything you have tried (spirits/drink wise) that normally you wouldnt?

Only time I have had black sambuca is in a "Black Jack" with Jack Daniels :thup:
 
Sambuca *shudder*

Once did 18 or 19 of these in one night when I was younger. Lit all of them in my mouth too (rather than in the glass).

Not touched it since. Awful stuff. Ended up spending the whole of the next day in bed. Never been so hungover

Nah, it was a cracking night, also had Baileys & Jamesons, some stupid vimto thing port & blue wkd... shame I am 40 and not 21 lol
 
gave up flaming sambucas years ago, devils brew and guaranteed you will do something stupid and not remember it.
 
Many years ago I used to work in a bar, one night after work we were given bottles of beer and licquors that were near their sell by date, black dambuca was one of them, we all sat round the bar and got hammered, nice at the time, horrendous the next morning.
 
Ever tried a shot of sambuca and a shot of tequila in the same glass?

Actually taste quite nice but is pure rocket fuel!! I remember spending one new years eve drinking them, woke up on the kitchen floor at 2pm on new years day!!

Even when I could drink I was never a fan of spirits and would just keep going on the pints. Partial to a southern comfort and coke and thats about it. My old man use to drink scotch like it was going out of fashion. Not the mass produced Bells stuff either but decent malts and then user to attack the bottle rather than enjoying them.
 
When I get a bit bored of the usual beer then shorts I sometimes see if the bar staff would mix up alcoholic Dr peppers.

Amaretto, a bit of beer and topped up with a coke. very nice indeed.
Or if we were really going for it Gas Chambers. You just need some tin foil with you. You get the Sambuca in a wine glass and then light it. Next pop over the tin foil to capture the fumes then stick a straw in and exhale the fumes and drink the remaining shot.

All good fun hey!
 
Head out with tinfoil on your possession your more than likely going to be accused of being a smackhead!
 
Mountain Dew mixed with Vodka is nice. Also Calpol with vodka in a blender. Sambucca, Aftershock, and Jagerbombs are for students.

One of my best mates lives in what can only be described as a bachelor pad from heaven with it's own 10ft fully stocked bar. Fair to say the old fishbowl gets put to good use. Some of the stuff I've mixed would literally knock most people off their feet within minutes.

Bring on New Years Eve :lol:
 
I'm actually quite fond of sambucca. I often finish off the night with one, but I would never drink it exclusively. The worst hangover I ever had though was after drinking Rumpleminze, a mint flavoured liquer. The next morning I felt awful and I couldn't even face washing my teeth as the thought of any more mint was enough to make me barf.
