Birdie streaks

3 in a row twice! 2-3-4 was a good start and 9-10-11. Had a few 2 In a row.

Had 5 in a row a few times, and once had 4 birdies with an eagle in it. I tend to be a streaky player. If I get on a roll it can get interesting but equally I can have the odd bogey blitz.

I had two in a row today.

One on a par 3, the next on a par 5. The nice thing was, every iron shot I played was money and I hit two good putts, no flukey thins or bounces off the back of bunkers nonsense.

Mind you, I had a triple on the 17th and finished on 82, so a slight downer....

I had four in a row in matchplay, and then after a par had another birdie. It was a five decades ago.

Four earlier this year, my partner then birdied the next to make it 5 as a pair. Previously never done better than 3. Recently one counts as a streak.

Never did anything better than 2 in a row, that was in a comp and on 17 and 18.

Did you birdie the 1st in your next round? That counts!!

2 for me. in comps which was in the first stableford comp I played in after getting my handicap back. Birdied the par 4 3rd then hit the green on the par 3 5th getting the putt for a 2, shame I didn't enter the 2's comp that time as I never thought I'd get one. I have NEVER made that mistake again!

I had 4 in a row in a bounce game once. Hit the next green (par 3) and 3 putted going after number 5 too much.

Also had 4 in a row in a comp but it was a 2 tee start and was holes 16, 17, 18 & 1.

Can't remember having more than 3 on the bounce and that was only the once!

Don't remember ever doing more than two in a row, certainly not in a comp. Had two in a row on Saturday actually, always a nice feeling and coming on 8 and 9 they put a nice gloss on my front nine. Unfortunately that still left 9 holes to muck things up....
