An obvious one I know but just a word of warning when attending the range after it has been raining.
Make double sure that both feet are on the mat before teeing off. Unfortunately I did not notice that my right foot was on the plastic frame surrounding the mat, one minute I was swinging an 8 iron, the next I was in a heap on the floor with my right foot pointing behind me

One trip to A&E later and I am now the proud owner of a broken ankle

Six weeks in plaster with no golf. Even when the plaster comes off I imagine it will take some time before I can full swing again due to the twist required on the right ankle on the follow through.
Anyone else come back from a broken ankle? I know we all heal at different rates but any indications of what to expect once the plaster is removed?
I suppose at least this gives me the opportunity to practice my chipping and putting.....
