Best Golf purchased you've made!

Waterproofs trousers. All day long.

Oh I got a set of these Ping Checked fleece lined trousers

look a bit stylish however all that matters is in the winter when its freezing im warm !

My driver (Cobra Fly-Z) which I bought sometime last year, so it was already the model before last years, so to speak, I got it for 100 € brand new. My mom tried it once and immediately wanted one as well. So did one of her friends, so I pretty much ended up buying all that the reseller still had in stock.

Also: my putting mat ... really made winter more productive

Bought an odyssey 2 ball black series, off here for about 60 quid of bluewolf I think, been in the bag ever since, about 6 years or more, best thing I every bought golf wise.

After a good read and laugh at this thread, and wondering about my best purchase, it struck me Nike trousers. I wandered about in rain at Carnoustie with my jacket on and off but never once had to put waterproof trousers on as the Nike kecks just didn't hold any water at all. I got two pairs from their outlet store for a £10 each. Brilliant things.
Close 2nd are Cleveland CG16 clubs. 2 years with them. No thoughts to change...... possibly ever.

MacWets, or.....

This could get me the same response as saying a ball retriever, but it's certainly the best fiver I've spent on golf.

did the same.

Assuming the guys in this thread are invested in the company because nobody pays £20 for socks and is happy about it

How much do you pay for your 'waterproof' shoes and still have wet feet after tramping around in the rough?

Clicgear trolley still going strong after ten years.

For clothing, Uniqlo ultralight down gilet. Perfect cool weather golfing attire.

Few things on my list -

Dubai trip last year. Watched the Dubai Desert Classic on friday, played the course on the tuesday, and Jumeirah and a couple others. Want to go back.

Next is my Mizuno putter - came from gumtree for £60, lovely to look at and holed some crazy putts with it.

Lastly, my Nike MM Proto irons - best irons i've owned. I can mishit these just as easily as i can mishit some game improvers. Nothing compares to a flushed 3 iron on a cold January morning. Longest serving things in my bag at 2 years old too.
