I wear a visor always- can't stand any wisps of hair blowing across my face, even tho my hair short.

Can't stand hats as they make me barnet all flat like

Interesting all those who don't wear a cap. Do you not think your game might benefit from one? Seriously - all the top pros wear one so it must help them somehow!

Ill try again. They get paid a shed load of cash to wear one.
Charley Hull is currently wearing a NY cap as she has no sponsors. When asked if she was a Yankee fan she replied 'I don't know who they are' class:rofl:

Genuine question - How many players wore a cap in the Walker Cup last week? I do not know the answer but (I guess) they cannot wear branded caps.

Oh that's driver cover!!, I thought it was a potrait of you pet nearly asked you in one thread what the dog was called?

Lol, yeah that's my baseball hat on my Bernese Mountain Dog driver cover. I do actually have 2 BMDs though so the question would have still worked :D

For what it's worth, the head cover is called Walter, the real ones are called Reiley and Ruby.

100% my thoughts.

Fair play if people say it helps with distractions etc , but I wonder if at first it was purely down to the facts that the pros wear them. Especially when I see people wearing them on dark/overcast days.

I like to wear sunglasses indoors, makes me feel like a celeb:whistle:

I might be wrong but surely a baseball cap is something a little bigger at the front with a larger and more flatter peak such as Hunter Mahan and Fowler would wear?? A bit too "street" and E 17 for me Then again I might be accused of being facetious...

I wear a golf cap of Titleist make normally when its very sunny or more often when it rains as I am becoming more follically (as well as facetious) challenged nowadays and it keeps the elements at bay and the rain from running down my nose!! .. ;)

Even mega cynic trad me would imagine that folks wear them on such days purely out of habit - and as part of their golf wear - they feel funny without one - a bit like not putting your seat belt on. Not a fan of silly hats though, as these don't show much respect for the game (see I went all serious traditional despite myself) :)

I once witnessed some one putting their cap on in the car park,I was livid

Can you confirm the proper etiquette on this. I cannot put it on in the changing room as it is poor form to wear a cap in doors but changing outside is also frowned upon. Do I have to rush to put it on dead on that transitional period as I step out of the clubhouse? :o

Not sure I'm qualified to offer such advice, sure some one that is will be along shortly.

I wear one if it is sunny, as I don't like wearing sunglasses for Golf. Alternatively, will grab it out of the bag if it starts raining too.

I wear mine when it is sunny to keep the sun out of my eyes and I wear it when it is raining to try and limit the rain on my glasses so I can sometimes see where the ball goes. Still doesn't stop me having no idea where it went but I think I have been reading the forum too long as I am sure it landed around the 350-400 yard mark.
