Barry Rhodes - RIP

Sad to here of Barry's death - he will be missed.

It is with great sadness that we let you know that Barry Rhodes passed away on Friday, 21st September 2018. While he was a man of many interests, golf was one of his great passions both for the game itself and the friendships it led to. Sharing the rules of golf through his books and online brought Barry great joy. We thank all of you who he engaged with him. May he rest in peace.

That’s sad to hear. Only had his latest email last week. When I have had a couple of questions his detailed responses were very quick and it always ended with ‘don’t hesitate to email if you have any more queries’

Great shame. I always enjoyed his rules questions emails. Strangely, the latest one arrived today.

How sad, he didn't look old enough for it to be an accepted death due to ageing. I read way too many of his blogs......made rules a little bit easier to understand. Who do I look to next?
