Ball testing

With the weather improving in most places hopefully those that were sent them will have more of a chance to try the Mizuno balls that were sent out. In three weeks time I will select the best review and that person will receive a year's supply (six dozen) of the balls. If you haven't already posted there is still time to get some feedback up there.

Yesterday I also send out a dozen of the new Srixon Z-Star balls to 12 forum members, which should arrive by the end of the week. I will create a sticky post in the review section for those 12 to post their thoughts on the new Z-Star.

Well postie has been and I have a dozen Z-Stars courtesy of GM. Thank you very much. My first testing opportunity.

Packaging is very interesting. I guess the plain box is sort of pre release but invidual boxes for each ball too. Very cute.

Thanks GM. 12 zstar vx's arrived this morning. I had just came back from my first medal at my new club. Had a stinking last 6 holes and got 0.1 back. Clearly the balls fault.

Next sat and I'll use my new ones and hopefully get rid of it again. Cheers guys.

I got a very pleasant surprise when a dozen of these were presented to me by my postman.

Tried one out over 9 holes this afternoon and early impressions are good, it doesn't seem to deviate as much as my current ball. And I mean any shot from driver to putter - had about 4 one putts with the z-star today!

Fantastic - hadn't realised until this morning that Mrs Riverdale took in a parcel yesterday - 12 Srixon Z-star balls for testing. Nice one Paul and GM.

Ive got a northern Matchplay 1st round pairs match this afternoon. Going to take a risk and try the z-star out in place of my usual TP3.
