not sure what the rules are but what do you use as a ball marker as i have seen some people use truly massive things to mark a ball that big that it must interferer with putts what happens in this case ?

A fella went in the pro shop asked if the pro sold ball markers,"yes" was the reply "50p each". the fella asked for two, and handed over his pound, "thank you" said the pro as he handed him two 5p pieces!

From memory I've had to use a marker 2 or 3 times in the last 2-3 years....
Last yr I marked my ball with a £1,one of the lads playing with us (not really a golfer)walked up to me with a beaming smile "nice 1 I've just found a quid near hole"
He still gets stick for it now.
