Sounds like GIBBO has laid down the challenge Phil. We should play what me and mates do, front 9 & back 9 is for the first 2 rounds in the bar and the full 18 is for the food.

Well lads, looking forward to tomorrow morning. Just as a quick one what is the best wat to get to the course at that time of the morning? I will be cutting across from the A1 via Bedford on the A421.

If you're coming down the A1 I would then take the A421 across from Bedford then I would look to pick up the A5 just south of Milton Keynes (go across the M1 junction on the A421 (which becomes Standing Way (H8) ) at which point the A5 will be signposted. Once on the A5 the first time after it being the main dual carriageway you come to a roundabout with a big McDonalds by it you want to take the A4146 to Leighton Buzzard. Youre then looking for a right hand turn off that signposted to Wing (Wing Road which becomes Leighton Road) you then need another right hand turn onto Stewkley Road. Couple of miles down here on the right is the golf course entrance.

Good to get a game with you guys again. Congrats to Phil and Adey they were far too good for us on the day. Good to see Adey again before he leaves us for good, I think he may be the biggest beneficiary of a GM custom fit Ive seen, his putting has improved out of sight, as for Fragger well back to back 4 pointers should be banned! And for Gibbo, back to the practise range!!!!

Was great fun as these little get togethers always are, really need to make the effort to do more of them! Cheers guys

Thanks for hosting Steve, was a really enjoyable day out and good to meet up with Gibbo before the Irish Craic Classic in July

Lovely watching you and Adey stroking the ball around and shaping your shots (ok some had a bit too much shape

have to mention Gibbo failing to make it past the ladies tees twice in a row, and we were going to insist on full punishment ritual if it happened the next hole, it didnt by about 20 yards

I had a couple of great holes, a par on a 2 shot, followed by a birdie on a par 4, dont ask me where they came from.The other 7 holes on the front were worth only 11 points, so 19 on the front, 14 on the back for 33

Adey & 1 won 4 n 3 but everyone contributed and it was a lovely sunny day and a nice game was had by all

Cheers lads, had a really enjoyable round with you all. Thanks to my partner Phil for putting in a great shift and confusing the hell out of me because he is a better golfer than his handicap says. After going 2 down early on we soon got it back and took the lead moving ahead to win it on the 16th with a nett birdie from Phil and a birdie from me.

Thanks Phil for getting me across to the A41, I was at heathrow in plenty of time. I would have got lost going the way you took me.

I enjoyed the course and had a good round, well apart from the triple bogey, but had a couple of good birdies to make up for it.

Was good to see you all before I move away, maybe squeeze another in before then :thup:
