not paint and not for a sky mark, but i did have the head of my M2 Wrapped, by a friend that has a sign company. looked good, untill changed the shaft

that might be worth a look, i did post pic of it on here when i had it done.

It’s difficult to match paint colour but it can be done.
Depends how picky you are.
Watch YouTube video of key scratches on cars and follow the same method, it does take time though.
I did the whole head with a car spray paint .
Looked great with coat of lacquer
It’s easier to get a good finish if you repair the Sky mark then paint the whole crown.

Remember 'paint' won't cover the imperfection. Take your time to 'fill' scratches and prepare with ultra fine wet & dry (1200+), carefully masking any bits you don't want covered
