I would add that our Scottish contingent have always been excellent and generous hosts going back years. Despite the fact that the match was played just on our side of the border, it was the Scottish lads who organised the England v Scotland matches and they were exceptional. Some who are no longer on here are sadly missed but those who remain keep up the standards that they started. Really need to find a week to get back up there for some golf

18th, and the whole course, has dried out superbly. I have never played it in such good condition.

The 17th is now fully open. The huge expense appears to be more than worth it. I have seen it drain quickly after a heavy rainfall, which is promising. There are plans to do the same on the 18th before the burn.
