Another driver dilemma

What's the desperation of which you write? I am fairly comfortable with my game at the minute. Changing irons has only made me more comfortable. Maybe discomfort more than desperation?

Oh it was a general comments, not aimed at you... but most of the members of this forum and others like it know the only performance to be gained is in a better fit than what we currently have rather than something a manufacture has discovered. Hehe, in this case its actually just colour....

You may aswel not even bother comparing two stock drivers side by side.

All that will do is show you which of them suits you best in that particular shaft and head.

You would need to compare them when both have been fitted as best they can.

The stock orichi shaft that comes with the jpx is complete useless to me. It pops the ball way up and gives it too high a launch even with it set to 8.5 .

Since I've plugged in a different shaft with a high kick point my launch and feel.has completely changed. I've had to up my loft again to 9.5 and even tried 10.5 which worked well although looking down at that much loft scares me as it appears closed.

Seems to be that when you change shaft you should also look at loft again to try and find a new optimal setting.

Trying two random drivers at the same loft with random shafts will give simply, a random result.

I realise all of this, what I did find interesting was thay despite the poor reviews of the shaft that even the stock Orochi was giving me comparable numbers to my current driver. So that point you make is not strictly true.

As was pointed out though in my OP, like a typical teenage crush, this is all about looks...

Blue is the best colour.

Those 850's are very pretty and I keep eyeing them up myself. Problem is I already have a blue driver (Cobra Amp Cell) and it's behaving very well for me. I've not succumb to temptation... Yet.
