Amazon Prime Football

Very true, but my Sky subscription has not reduced for less content, and neither has my BT.

If it was on one platform, and you could either subscribe to all of it, or selected games, then it would work. But 3 platforms? Really? The customer is getting striped.

Sky having a monopoly was supposed to be a bad thing for the customer. As it turned out it was as good as we were going to get. Since weve had more competition all that happens is sports events rights gets bid up to silly amounts, where the companies bidding are basically bidding with the customers money against the customers money, as the money has to come back through subscription cost. All it means is that theres some ludicrously rich sportsmen and agents whilst Joe public pays way over what he used to watch sport on tv, but dont forget competition in the market is a good thing for the customer ;)

happens with other non streamed services to, I've been at my parents watching the footy live on his sky feed whilst having the BBC final score on my phone and the score has come on the phone before its come up on his live sky viewing on tv.

Happened in a pub years ago....watching an England match.....half way through the match half the pub started cheering, beer flying etc.....15 seconds later the rest of the pub could join in. Watching the same match via terrestrial and satellite feeds in different parts of the pub....was most disconcerting until they got it sorted.

It is but were talking fractions of seconds, the delays to live tv that we see are mainly a choice not a necessity, or has technology really regressed over 20 years ;)

Yeah, for the bookies advantage ?

Watching the Palace v Bournemouth game. So far all good presentation and stream wise. Will change to the Burnley v City game at 815 to see the UHD offering.

Splitting the games up will cost more money for the consumer because each portion will need to be recouped by the purchasing company. I’m not a football fan so it means little to me but if I were I would be rightly hacked off by having to pay for 3 services to view what I used to see on one.
Sky are the leaders in this field and others have had to really throw huge cash at it to wrest part of it off them. Remember when BT sport came free with your broadband? Not anymore! Amazon will end up charging a subscription separately to Prime for this in time I think.
Winners are the big clubs as they get more revenue.
how long before amazon start up a europen super league with their cash??

where football leads other sports cant wait to follow! already need 2 subs to watch rugby, multiple subs for all the cricket etc etc

if you only want to watch occasionally youll be ok, otherwise youre being screwed over

winners are the players/agents who are earning telephone numbers!

We are on high priority at the moment because of these games - there is a tier priority list for these games - there are only two high tier one games from the list as well for this week
