My 1 year old daughter and I are here listening to Mike Oldfields Ommadawn. She really likes it, but my 3 year old son is not keen at all. I keep telling him that he'll thank me for it later in life.

Guess where and how I first heard it. Yep, my old man would stick it on very loud on a Sunday when I was young.

It's amazing what you go back to after all these years.

Sorry. It's a bit of a facebook post!

Count yourself lucky!

I had Gilbert and bloody Sullivan all the time.
Fortunately Fragger steered me to the light - thanks Bro!

HH - you're not a closet hippy.
You're well out in the open now..

And when it wasnt G&S it was Flanders & Swann or Tom Lehrer.

Jeez knows how we survived to be the well balanced upstanding citizens we are today

Yes, try a bit of Jethro Tull or Grateful Dead.

Jethro Tull are just weird. Whenever I listen to their stuff I imagine bearded men (and possibly women), all drinking cider/real ale, standing on the village green watching morris dancers.
