Had an email today and their latest offer on trade in clubs is A) get a value to be able to spend on anything or B) get double value to spend on clubs. Can’t believe they are wanting more clubs. Must be a good reason

Whatever happened to...,

All that gear they took last year?

Did they set up an eBay shop, or just melt it all down? No way on god's green earth anyone would have bought what I gave them...

They have an online second hand section

Also they opened an outlet store well a few of them dunno if they sell the second hand clubs there but any club that doesn't sell is Sent there and sold cheaper

The prices quoted in their examples on website, are borderline ridiculous and comical.

Can't see any "savvy" golfer being duped by these silly figures
They are losing credibility here by even showing such derogatory prices.

I heard a rumour from my pro that AG are setting up a big second hand sale business and are looking to build their stock with the trade in stuff. Purely a rumour though.

Is there a way to self look up their prices like last time?

The website they used last time around was the PGA Value Guide. Anyone know if they are using the same thing this time?

I went into a store 3 weeks ago and was quoted £213 for a set of Srixons but you had to trade in against a new set of irons so emailed them to see the current price.

And this is now £68

Now I thought the £213 was generous but now they are taking the micky !!

Was ready to do a deal this time but not at that price.

Well what a rip off. I had a fitting about 10 days ago and tried the P790 irons. Had a set of Srixon Z355 irons that i have used once to trade and was offered £149 which i didnt accept. Phoned today as i saw the offer and was offered £47 doubled to £94 :p.
I mentioned i was offered £149 just over a week ago and he just said thats the price now. Jam Golf offered £200 part ex so my new irons are being ordered shortly.

Sell on eBay with their own eBay shop

Plus they've a shop in teeside area selling used golf gear

Doesn't seem to be working though.

I have visited three stores in the Midlands during the last two weeks and they were all rammed with second hand tat, the prices of which were way over the top.

Most of this was left over from last year's offer.
